What is a trend widget?

The trend widget enables you to understand changes over time in any category, including taxonomy categories, or topics. You can compare changes month over month, or year over year. By identifying trends in your data faster, you can resolve issues before they become bigger problems, saving you time and money. Noticing positive trends earlier allows you to capitalize on them and maximize their impact.

All power and admin customers can create trend widgets.

How to create trend widgets

From the widget editor, choose the KPI you’d like to track by clicking Select a Dimension.
Expand the dropdown menu for your chosen value and select “compare period over period”.
Make your selections on the following screen. Select whether you’d like to compare month over month or year over year. You can see a comparison based on value, or proportion. Adjust the dates as needed.
Save your widget. You’ll find it in your workspace, with the last column showing the changes over time.
