What is the Data Settings Panel?
The Data Settings Panel guides you through connecting to and analyzing your data, allowing you to continue through each step without having to wait for each individual process to complete prior to starting the next step.
Connect: This allows you to quickly add data from a new or existing stream.
Analyze: Quickly add Stratifyd models, Taxonomy models, or custom models.
Stratifyd models have updated to include:
• Theme Detection - formerly Auto-Topic Prediction – formerly NLU
• Theme Summarization - formerly Neural Topic Model
• Emerging Theme Analysis - formerly Focused Insights
• Taxonomy Categorization Model
• Neural Sentiment Detection - multiple version trained on different datasets
• Lexicon Sentiment Detection
• Geo Analysis
• Buzzword Analysis
• Language Analysis (Detect)
• Predictive Impact Analysis
• Translate Text
Using the Data Settings Panel
To access the Data Settings Panel, click the Settings tab after the Data tab in your workspace.
In data settings, you can connect to your data through a connector in the first column. Selecting an existing data stream or creating a new data stream is possible here.

In the 'Analyze' tab, deploy new models under 'Deploy models to find answers from your data.' Models are broken up based on what type of information you would like to learn.
What are our customers saying? - Unsupervised models. These models surface information from the data without human input.
Based on tags, what topics are we seeing? - Taxonomies categorize our data based on parameters you set.
How are our customers feeling? - These models help us understand customer attitude.
Where are these customers located? - Geographic Analysis helps us visualize where in the world our customers are writing in from.

Select the model you want to deploy (you can read more about each model in the Analyze Your Data collection), map the appropriate fields (such as text) then click 'Start Analysis'. (In this example, our text dimension is called 'context'. This will not be the case in every dataset.)

Return to the Data Settings panel and you can see this analysis under 'Deployed'.

Click save and the data settings panel will close and your workspace will open with the insights you selected to show. If your analysis is still processing, these widgets will temporarily appear blank.
