The Topic Wheel visualization is similar to a pie chart, displaying groups of semantically related buzzwords from a topic model, along with average sentiment values across the groups and the occurrence count of each group across your dataset. If you map a date field when initially deploying a topic model, a trend line can also be added to the visualization to track occurrence counts over time.
Once you have this widget in place, you can use it to Model Feedback Loop.
Prerequisites
Before we begin, you need to have the following elements in place:
-
A data stream
-
A workspace
-
Output from a deployed topic model
To create the widget
-
Open your workspace that has a topic model and click the plus sign at the bottom right to add a new widget.
-
In the Widget Editor that appears, in the fields panel to the left, locate the topic model and click the topics field.
The Pie visualization is selected by default.

Initially, the bi-grams list and sentiment does not appear. To show the bi-grams list, in the settings panel to the right, under Options, drop down the Key N-Grams selector and choose List.

Note that although the trend line appears in the Widget Editor view of the visualization, if you did not map a date field when you set up your model, it does not appear in the workspace after you save the widget.
The widget appears with a buzzword list to the right. Click Save to return to your workspace.
