Data connector details
-
Category: Hospitality
-
Connector type: Standard
Description
Use the Google Hotel Review connector to retrieve and analyze hotel guest reviews on Google.
Data Limitations
This data connector supports all global Google hotel review web sites.
Google does not impose limitations on the amount of data that you can pull, but for hotels with a lot of reviews, you may want to limit it yourself using the Comment Limit option or by narrowing the date range.
If you have issues with no data, try widening your date range on the second page of the wizard.
Input fields
When setting up the connector, provide the URL of the hotel or hotels for which you want to analyze customer reviews.
-
Google Hotel URL (*required): On the Google Hotels web site, navigate to the hotel and from the address bar, copy the URL, then paste it into this field.
-
Add new search: To analyze multiple locations of the hotel or multiple hotels, click this as many times as needed to add more URLs.
-
Upload: Click to upload a file containing a list of hotel URLs. Takes a TXT file with one URL per line.
(CSV is also acceptable, but it must have one URL per line.) -
Comment Limit: It is a good practice to set a limit on the number of comments returned.

You can change your date range on the second page of the wizard, or optionally Schedule data crawls to update your data stream periodically.
