Chunk Parser

Previously available within the Theme Summarization model, this analysis is now available as a standalone process. 

What is Chunk Parser?

This process allows you to extract semantically meaningful phrases from your text input, as opposed to the bigrams generated by some of our other analyses.  Each "chunk" contains two to five words, determined using a dependency tree-based chunk algorithm.

When to use Chunk Parser

Visualizing chunks monthly or quarterly with our table/temporal charts visualization can help reveal trending or important topics.

Known Limitations

Available to all standard users.

Currently available only in English, Chinese, and Japanese languages.
