This new visualization uses three dimensions to produce a highly readable and interactive widget. Though it has many uses, this visualization is especially useful for visualizing taxonomies.
How to make a circle chart
Open the widget editor and select three values:Category x Category x Number.
The first selected category represents the number of circles (taxonomy labels, in this example) , while the second category determines the number of arcs on each circles (value of ratings). The size of each arc is determined by the numerical value (number of records for reach rating, in this example).
Choose the correct visualization option.
You can click in the middle of the circle or pie chart to interact with the data.
Clicking in the center filters by that taxonomy label. Clicking on the arcs will apply two filters: the label and the value.
