Butterfly Chart

You can use a butterfly chart to visually display sentiment distribution within a given taxonomy topic or category, or any data with great polarity in the second dimension. It's very customizable and easy to read at a glance. 

How to create a butterfly chart

Open the widget editor as normal.

Choose your values for a standard bar chart. We'll be using sentiment scores in this example. 

Select the bar chart visualization.

Under the visualization options, adjust the arrangement from "normal" to "Left Right arrangement" to make a butterfly chart.

You'll see your finished widget. This example shows overall sentiment ratings, broken down by gender.
